SINGLE REVIEW | THE RAH’S - ‘Land of the Dreamers’

Indie rock and roll 4 piece, The Rah’s, released their anthemic new single, ‘Land of the Dreamers’, on March 7th. From the song’s guitar riff intro to the sing along chorus, their latest track drives full speed ahead with the Prestonpan boys in the drivers seat. Since the release of their single, The Rah’s have been busy touring Scotland, successfully selling out the well known Edinburgh venue Sneaky Petes.

‘Land of the Dreamers’ is a track which entices the listener from the get go. A staccato intro riff begins before bursting into a full blown display of the rock and roll excitement that’s to come. Lead vocalist Jack warns us, in a Gallagher-esque growl, of the perils of getting lost in the Land of the Dreamers. Following the energetic chorus, we are teased by the electrifying guitar work that is an example of the musicianship which takes this song to the next level. Combine this with the vigorous vibrations of the drums and compelling bass and you’re left with this tenacious tune that does not disappoint.

The skilful use of dynamics in the bridge underline the impressive improvement to their song writing ability over the years, giving the track a highly professional finish which suggests we can look forward to many more exhilarating tracks in the future.

While their most recent tour finished up with their triumphant Edinburgh date, you can catch them South of the border for their next show in Camden, London.
