The countdown is well and truly on for one of the hottest lineups I've seen in a while to grace the suburbs of Edinburgh on the 20th of April. 'Terminal V | The Rising' is our first taste of the 2019 festival season in Scotland, so ravers, dancers, lovers we will see you all under the bright lights and big beats.
This is the event to be at for any true techno heads who are looking for an old school rave that conveys everything dance music was born to do, offer an escape from everyday life. Terminal V is pushing the boundaries of creativity and tapping into all our senses with mass lighting, visual and sound production to accompany the music and achieve the ultimate ravers paradise where worries don't exist. Brexit who?
This years line up was certainly the selling point, once I seen it I knew I had to be there. With big up and coming names like Mella Dee, Mall Grab and Patrick Topping and the modern classic that is Green Velvet on the Terminal stage this is NOT to be missed and sure to be the hub of the whole event. Jennifer Cardini is another to join the Terminal stage line up bringing flavors of the hardstyle techno and electro beats flowing around the underground scenes of Europe where she began her career, she is a definite one to watch out for.
From my personal taste of nu-disco the set I'm most keen to catch is London collective 'Horse Meat Disco' who's mixes just ooze pure soul, funk and killer beats with an ode to everything 80s. You'll find them on stage in The Greenhouse hosted by Edinburgh residents, Sneaky Pete's.
What is also good to see in the line is the feature of some Scottish djs such as 'No Strings Attached' who are frequent residents in the clubs of Cowgate and Mikey Duncan co-founder of 'Digital: Groove Records' and passionate ambassador for all that the Scottish electronic scene has to offer.
