Having been a massive fan of the band for years, we are delighted we have the chance to premiere the new single from Allloa's very own Vida! This single is something of a different sound for the 5 piece band compared to previous singles Take It Easy and What Goes Around but its equal if not the best single to date. Combining strong, personal lyrics, which are guaranteed to be stuck in your head for days after hearing it, with a catchy guitar riff and not to mention the beautiful sound of the harmonica, this is the perfect song to round off the summer. Lead singer Jamie Pollock, who wrote the song, said "This song is about falling for someone who you know is gonna be the one. It's about those feelings of first talking to that person and the emotional roller coaster that entails right up until you pluck the courage to pop the question. It's also about knowing that person will have such an effect on your life that they will be engraved into your soul until the day you die. I thought it would be one of those songs that I kept to myself but as soon as the boys heard it, it was inevitable that it would become a Vida single. It's a love song, simple as that really."
