This Feeling are known for selecting only the best of talent on the current circuit and never fail to bring the goods in terms of unforgettable acts. Coming to Dundee on the 16th February at Beat Generator Live! Are The Van T’s, Black Dove, Novella and The Love Affair.
Warming your hearts and lugs up first, we have The Love Affair. True to their name, they hope to bring you a truly sentimental array of feelings, “Relighting a fire. A fire that burns with the sole intention of melting music and art together again. One sense will never be enough. Feel the love.” What more can you ask for? They are a 5 piece outfit from Dundee who have been long-term friends and this truly shines through in their music. There’s a feeling of historical depth to everything they do with an unbuckling connection to their audience.
Next up are Novella, also a five piece, and also from Dundee, it’s just over a year to the date that they released their first single ‘Plastic Rose’. Since then, they have literally blossomed into something to be adored. They offer a crowd pleasing performance every time, and have supported the likes of Billy Mitchell and The Vanities to date. It has a pleasure to watch them grow this last year, and I’m keen to see what the guys bring next.
If you haven’t yet had the chance to hear Back Dove, you really should. Formed in 2016, they are an Indie-rock band from Greenock. Bringing you emotionally charged tracks that will capture your minds and hearts, this four piece have already featured on the This Feeling setlist and supported other big names such as Henderson. They show a real appreciation for their fans and bring so much energy to their live sets you’d be daft to miss out.
Heading up this event will be The Van T’s (The Van Twins). They have been exploding their musical prowess all over the Scottish music scene. They are reviving some seriously sick 90s sounds. Straight outta Glasgow, their sound is reminiscent of deep, not so wholesome grunge with a little bit of that popular appeal. They are a stand apart performance who bring you catchily memorable tracks to last you a lifetime.
