Another event brought to you by This Feeling is coming at you hasta la pronto this Thursday at Conroy’s Basement in Dundee. With their reputation very much preceding them, This Feeling are becoming a national institution who can be depended on for some much-needed heart hugging indie, brit-pop and rock & roll classics from their DJ sets alone. Not to mention the fact that all of this goodness also comes with a tremendously mind blowing line-up. This time around you have the pleasure of Sway, The Good Doctor and Saint Louie.
After having just released their new single ‘Haven’ through GOOD//careful this Paisley based outfit bring you deep and meaningful nuances of everything from ‘contemplative examinations of the self’ to ‘the volatile nature of modern love’. The have played massive headline shows as well as supporting top acts like The View and Catholic Action. These guys are clearly made for big things and their passion is literally bursting though the seams of their most recent EP.
The Good Doctor will feature alongside them, they are a four-piece band from Dundee who play an eclectic mix of rock & roll, soul and blues. Filled with funky wah pedal vibes, and slinky guitar ornaments, their tunes are characteristic of the early greats such as Hendrix. They communicate a wealth of musical prowess with such ease, you cannot miss this unmistakably down to the bone raw talent. The band are no strangers to Conroy’s so make sure to give this local outfit your support on Thursday.
Finally, Saint Louie, who are popping up all over the musical places these days, formed only in 2017 they are already bringing in some wicked material. They pride themselves in having many musical influences, bringing you revolutionary sounds that might just melt your rock & roll heart. The have already supported the likes of Alabama 3, The Snuts and Neon Waltz to name a few. Their vocals are notoriously Scottish, gritty and game changing. This overlays some of the most gut charged, rugged blues your wee ears will ever discover.
