Aberdeen pop-rockers The XCERTS are set to bring their album to a close, with two Scottish shows this Friday and Saturday.
The XCERTS fourth album, Hold on to Your Heart, did wonders for the three piece. It was a top 40 album, allowed them to play the likes of TRNSMT and go on a massive arena tour with Busted.
Bringing this campaign to a close, the band recently released an EP titled Wildheart Dreaming. Featuring songs like Fight or Run and You Mean Everything, it is the perfect EP to be played to adoring fans.
That's exactly what they'll be doing this weekend when they come to Scotland, with headline dates in Glasgow and Dundee.
The Glasgow and Dundee shows will feature support from the wonderful Edinburgh band Swim School, who have just shot onto the scene. Their latest single sway is a massive tune and having only played a handful of small gigs so far, this will be a great opportunity to see them in a bigger venue.
Other support for the Glasgow show is the energetic indie-poppers Vistas. Fresh off a UK tour supporting with Circa Waves and a UK headline tour confirmed for later in the month, they have been very busy lately. Their infectious sound is sure to grab the attention of any room they play in and live, they are a triumph to watch.
Joining the Dundee show on Saturday is Waxwork Monologue. The Dundee band released their first single in July last year titled How Money Changes The Man. The band haven't played live very much, but are sure to do put the effort in opening the gig on Saturday.
Tickets are still available for both shows here, so definitely get a long and see a night of amazing Scottish talent. Check out our playlist below to get in the mood.
