Gracing the stage of Beat Generator in Dundee on the 15th June will be hometown lads The Roques who are back with their second single "What do you see?" Joining them is a very strong lineup consisting of The Medinas, Neil Morrison Band and Plasmas. For all bands involved this is very much a home game which speaks volumes for the current state of the music scene in Dundee.
The five piece indie outfit are no strangers to a good single release, with their last single "Day by day" racking up over 3,000 Spotify streams in just under 2 months, I fully expect the new release to do just as good, if not better.
All the bands taking part in this night are no strangers to the Discovery Music team with The Medinas and Neil Morrison having single reviews done by us and Plasmas who are featured in this weeks Spotify playlist with their track "Overblown." It truly is fantastic to see the community aspect of the music scene coming into play here with four Dundee bands sharing the stage with each other to support the release of one bands single.
I strongly suggest getting yourself along to Beat Generator on the 15th June for what will be a great night of music from local bands.
