Ripping through the Scottish music scene, not to mention selling out at their debut headliner at King Tuts last year in a matter of hours, The Snuts are a high-energy outfit from West Lothian. Following a summer of successful festival appearances at the likes of TRNSMT and The Dirty Weekender as well as a number of UK sold out shows they will now be coming to you live again in Glasgow at Saint Lukes & The Winged Ox on the 19th of October. Their tunes are pulsingly vibrant, these gems of musical excellence will stay with you long after the show is gone. Sadly, the tickets are already sold out, but if you’ve already got yours then you’ll be glad to know the support acts are not to be missed either.
Mark Sharp & The Bicycle Thieves take their inspiration from those such as The Rolling Stones, Ryan Adams, & Stereophonics. They launched their debut EP ‘Lost Cause’ at the sell-out gig at The Hug & Pint last December and have since been making a relentless footprint on your wee eardrums, gaining a strong following across central Scotland. Live shows are paramount to the heart and soul of these guys who tailor make each gif to the crowd before them. This unique ability to capture the moment means no two shows are ever the same, but one thing’s for certain, you’ll be on your way to musical heaven when you hear them play.
Bringing a different tone to the evening with a sweet amalgamation of 90s indie and alternative rock are Petty Thieves. A four-piece outfit from Falkirk, they played their first big gig earlier this year in June at Nice N Sleazy and have since added to their already amassing fan base. Super chilling vocals will shoot through you like waves on an ocean sunset, juxtaposed with soul comforting rhythm guitar.
Finally, last up is Adam Glen. Playing as part of the line-up for King Tuts summer nights earlier this year, as well as supporting Luke La Volpe and also from West Lothian he has been described as nothing short of a ‘miracle’. His single ‘Trendy Scum’ was released earlier this year. With the ability to bring a heart wrenching lilt to his tunes he will fill you up with all the good feels.
To make sure you don’t miss out on the next one, you can check out all of these guys on their respective social media pages, Spotifys, Youtubes and all other major sharing platforms.
