How would you sum up your 2018?
In a word. Insane. Absolutely insane but we made it. Still here haha!
Plans for 2019?
Release the new EP. Tour it. Play a few fests around the UK then write and demo album number 2. Which I honestly can't wait for.
Any new music in the pipeline?
There are always new tunes in the pipeline in DELINQUENTS camp. April 19th is when our 'Sober On Sunday' EP is dropped so can't wait to get it out there as it's been finished for so long!
What are your influences for song writing?
The world and society we live in. Being dumped, being drunk and hating tories. I try and write about as much as I can but it always ends up about the above.
Thoughts on the Scottish Music Scene?
It's great, plenty more to come too. Very diverse. Wish I got out more to see more bands but generally a fresh vibe.
Favourite Scottish bands or artists?
I love Goodbye Blue Monday, Teenage Fanclub, The Zips, The Overbites and Idlewild. Combination of right now and ever.
If you could cover a song, what would it be and why?
Probably Detroit Rock City by KISS because I think it's like my favourite ever intro. Plus hearing Kiss at a punk rock show would probably raise some eyebrows. I enjoy folk being surprised by what we do every now and again. Fuck Gene Simmons though.
What's the most bizarre thing to happen while you were onstage? Being drunk and spinning around,falling off stage and knocking myself out.....this was during a soundcheck. I can't really remember what the gig was like.
If you only had one album to listen to, what would it be?
Original Pirate Material by The Street/Give Em Enough Rope by The Clash/ Definitely Maybe by Oasis
What is your guilty pleasure song? Heaven is a Place on Earth by Belinda Carlisle. If you had your own festival, who would be your 3 headliners? Gonna go for acts that are still alive so probably The Fugees, Green Day and The Damned.
