Having recently caught them live at a gig for the first time, it was get to get a chat with the band! How would you sum up your 2018?

At the start of 2018 we released our debut EP Titled 'Cousins in L.A.’ after a year of playing local gigs in our hometown and surrounding areas, our original bassist left for a brief period of time at the end of the year but now he has rejoined. We also got a new guitarist at the end of the year. After Party currently consist of; Ryan Smith - Vocals/guitar, Ian Ross - Vocals/bass, Mitch McDonald - Drums and Callum Will - Guitar. Plans for 2019?

Our plans for 2019 so far is to release our new single called ‘Silent Alarm’ and debut music video which we have been working on for a while and we cannot wait to release it. This is coming out very soon so keep an eye out for this.

What are your influences for song writing?

Our influences for song writing come from Josh Homme and Noel Gallagher mainly. Thoughts on the Scottish Music Scene?

Our thoughts on the Scottish music scene is that there are a lot of good bands out there but its not supported enough.

Favourite Scottish bands or artists?

Some of our favourite Scottish Artists are: Biffy Clyro, The Xcerts, Travis and Lewis Capaldi.

If you could cover a song, what would it be and why?

We already cover Otherside by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, we cover this as we all enjoy this song and we all like the Chili Peppers.

What's the most bizarre thing to happen while you were onstage?

The most bizarre thing to happen while we were onstage is people actually turning up to watch us play hahah. The actual most bizarre thing is someone using Ryans christmas jumper as a flag and using a broom as the pole.

If you only had one album to listen to, what would it be?

If we could only listen to one album it would be;

Mitch - Blood Sugar Sex Magik - Red Hot Chili Peppers

Ryan - The Queen is dead - The Smiths

Ian - Origin of Symmetry - Muse

Callum - A Flash Flood Of Colour - Enter Shikari

What is your guilty pleasure song?

Our guilty pleasures include Ariana Grande, Mcfly and Childish Gambino, Macklemore and Abba.

If you had your own festival, who would be your 3 headliners?

If we were to have out own festival, one headliner would definitely be the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, another one would be Muse and the final headliner would be Foo Fighters.
